Extremely Rare Corning Ware Renaissance 1¾-Quart Casserole with Lid (P-1¾-B)

Extremely Rare!
US$300.00

This is not your everyday Corning Ware. Produced only briefly in 1970 as part of the exclusive Renaissance Gift Line, this casserole is one of the most sought-after patterns ever created by Corning. The striking black-on-white scene is taken from a 17th-century engraving of Stockholm’s bustling harbor by Erik Dahlbergh, featured in Suecia Antiqua et Hodierna.

Unlike the more common floral designs, the Renaissance line was marketed as a premium collection and saw very limited production, making surviving pieces scarce. At 1¾ quarts, this dish is both display-worthy and functional, with the original clear lid completing the set.

For collectors of rare Corning Ware, this piece represents a true gem — a museum-quality addition that showcases history, artistry, and craftsmanship in one.
